Born in Newmarket, Ontario, Ronald Boaks moved to Niagara-on-the-Lake in 2015. He received his diploma in creative art at Sheridan College in 1975. He works in a variety of media, including painting, sculpture and collage, but he is best known for his vivid expressive abstract paintings in which he aims to reflect beauty, balance, desire and humour.
