The John Mann Gallery in partnership with The Exchange Niagara Falls, is proud to showcase the works of Jill Sapiente. A native of the Niagara region, Jill Sapiente has been exploring the splendor of Niagara’s landscape through her immersive paintings. Meet the artist Jill Sapiente at 7pm on Friday October 4, 2024. Her paintings will be on view until Wednesday October 30th, 2024. The exhibition is located at 5943 Sylvia Pl, Niagara Falls, ON L2G 1S9
“This exhibit explores the vast Niagara terrain. It highlights the natural beauty of the Bruce trail, the bodies of water surrounding the peninsula, the flora, and the many hidden waterfalls flowing throughout this majestic region. These are the ‘Elements of Niagara’ that have provided an abundance of rich inspiration to my body of work. Finding joy in the magnificence of this environment and celebrating its splendor through my use of expressive colour has always been a lifelong pleasure.” - Jill Sapiente
Jill Sapiente is a mature emerging artist that was first introduced to painting at an early age. Having artistic parents, she was raised with creatives and novel ideas. Primarily self-taught, her adventurous and creative spirit has intuitively guided her exploration of her artistic practise. Always thinking outside the box, she frequently explores new ways to express herself in her work. She paints almost daily, while continually being enriched and inspired by her surroundings of the Niagara region.
