Collection: Mars Brint

Mari or Mars Brint is an emerging artist from St. Catharines, Ontario, graduating from Brock University in 2023 and the recipient of the Distinguished Graduating Student Award. They are a genderqueer artist who focuses on still-lives and portrait paintings with a recent focus on the bright, nostalgic, and temporary concept of stickers as objects of focus. This idea began as a final project for their graduation but continues to be a subject that is explored. The dimensionality and variability of the stickers, highlights, and shadows produced provide an endless stream of interesting still lives to create.
