Julie Snider comes from a strong artistic background, she developed her artistic eye at a young age with the influence of her late father Dr. Murray Wertman, who enjoyed taking black and white photographs. Julie graduated from the Graphic Design program in 1974 at Sheridan College, in Oakville, Ontario, her watercolour paintings have been exhibited in Perth, Australia and can be found in collections in Australia, Canada, United States, Great Britain and Israel. She is the recipient of the Niagara’s Peter Hariris Award and her images have been published by Posters International, which are sold worldwide.
She continues to exhibit locally at locations such as Pumphouse Art Gallery, Chateau Des Charmes Winery, the Epicurean Restaurant in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Henry of Pelham Winery in St. Catharines and Balzac’s in the Distillery District of Toronto.
