Co-owner of 13th Street Winery, John Mann and his wife have been collecting and living with art for over sixty years, both at home and at work.  The Mann collection consists of over 300 works of art which include some of Canada’s most celebrated artists.

An entrepreneur and a philanthropist, John has spent 50 years expanding and growing the Performance Auto Group with his friend and business partner Cam Champion.  Employing more than 400 full and part-time employees, Performance is a leading automotive company in Niagara and Southern Ontario, representing 16 of the most sought-after automobile manufacturers. Through the success of Performance, John’s philanthropic activities helped support many people and organizations in the region.  These organizations include United Way, Brock University, Niagara College, Niagara Health System, Niagara Symphony, Music Niagara, Kiwanis, Niagara Children’s Centre, Child Advocacy Centre Niagara, the Performing Art Centre, Youth for Christ to name but a few.

In 2008, John and his wife June partnered with Doug and Karen Whitty to acquire 13th Street Winery. His vision to open an Art Gallery manifested on November 2, 2019 when 13th Street Gallery opened its doors. As the Director of the John Mann Gallery, John continues to be a strong supporter of the Arts and a visionary with the development of 13th Street’s Sculpture Garden.
