Collection: Edward Leidel

Edward Leidel was born in Akron, Ohio, and moved to St. Catharines with his family during his youth. His interest in art was influenced by his high school shop teacher, artist Campbell Scott. He began working as a carpenter after graduation and eventually ran his own cabinetry business. Since his retirement, Edward has rediscovered his love for art, experimenting with mosaics, wood, sculpture, cast paper bas-relief sculptures, vacuum forming and acrylic painting. He is currently a member of the St. Catharines Art Associations.
