John MacInnes
John MacInnes exhibited at the John Mann Gallery SQUARE FOOT 2024 exhibition.
John MacInnes is a self-taught artist who recently moved to the Niagara region. Retirement has afforded the time for John to explore his creativity. His unique style was developed from years of sketching caricatures of animals and people and recording events of his life. With a preference for bright colours, his drawing and paintings narrated everyday life such as being with his sisters at their grandparent’s farm in Western Ontario, his dad feeding a baby robin, a pensive John wondering what it is all about and many others.
