Mary Ivison is an explorer, researcher, and visual artist. Her work embodies a delicate balance, bridging the familiar and the unknown within her worldly experiences. Fuelled by an unending curiosity, she questions how the elements of her daily life interconnect to shape the complex phenomenon of life on Earth.

Mary seeks out synchronicities between the vast and miniscule aspects of the world and the universe, be it emotions, shapes, mathematics, or spirituality. She then strives to organize her discoveries into a visual language that resonates with her, giving her the space to sort through life. This language is not confined to any specific medium; it adapts as needed to convey its message effectively. The process of creating her art is akin to a dialogue—a conversation among her thoughts, the known and the unknown, and the chosen medium.
