About Peter Haworth
Peter Haworth was born in Lancashire, England in 1889. He was educated at the Royal College of Art in London, England. He completed his studies with the London University in 1922 with a Degree of A.R.C.A.. Haworth came to Canada in 1923 and was appointed Director of Art at Central Technical School in Toronto. A full member of the Royal Canadian Academy (1954) and an associate member of the Royal Canadian Academy (1946), the Canadian Group of Painters, the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour (1936) and the Ontario Society of Artists.
